Cardiac Technology

About

This is an undergraduate specialized  course in Aliied Health Science. It is a 3 year Full Time undergraduate course with one year ROTATORY compulsory internship .

​

It teaches the students :

​

  • To assist the physicians during invasive cardiovascular testing in the diagnosis and the treatment of cardiac (Heart) conditions and peripheral conditions( blood vessels) . 

  • It  prepares the professionals in  preparing the patients for open heart surgery, implanting pacemakers

  • Monitoring the patients during these procedures.

  • Performing cardiac stress test and electrocardiograms.

  • Using and maintaining the medical equipment like ultrasound.
